Resource FIRST Robotics Team 900 “The Zebracorns” White Papers
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, https://www.firstinspires.org) inspires young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
FIRST Robotics Team 900, the Zebracorns, is hosted at the NC School of Science and Mathematics and has an active team bringing machine learning and industry-level software to the process of designing a complex robot for competition. This resource is a link to their release of white papers discussing their use of the Robot Operating System, implementation of vision systems, sensor implementation, and more.
This is an advanced-level resource for others interested in FIRST or how such tools can be implemented in a high school.
